AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM
Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley offers an affordable, high-quality afterschool program
at River Road/El Camino Elementary.
The River Road afterschool program is currently FULL and a waitlist is available below.
Programming: Your child will enjoy the encouragement and guidance from a consistent Club staff that leads youth in structured opportunities throughout the afternoon in activities including academic enrichment like reading and STEAM activities, plenty of outdoor recreation and physical play, as well as creative opportunities including arts and crafts.
Ages Served: Members must be currently attending 1st grade to 5th grade at River Road Elementary School. Members must have completed kindergarten to begin attending the Club.
Program Location: River Road Elementary, 120 W Hilliard Ln, Eugene, OR. 97404
Service Dates: September 9, 2024 - June 5, 2025
Hours of operation:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Early Release Wednesday: 1:30 – 6:00 p.m.
Registration Fees: The cost for a membership is $40 per child (or $60 per family), and this fee is due upon registration. Registration fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Monthly Fee Structure: The monthly fee structure for the 2024-2025 school year (September - June) on the first day of each month:
• $40 per month per child or
• $60 per month for families with multiple children enrolled
Mandatory Parent/Member Orientation: Every youth and parent/guardian must attend a mandatory orientation prior to their child attending the Club. Date and times to be determined.
Meals: Every day your child will receive a hearty snack and hot supper after school.
Transportation Home: All members must be picked up by a parent/guardian at River Road Elementary PRIOR to the program closing at 6:00pm Transportation is NOT provided home. Failure to pick up your child prior to closing will be grounds for terminating your membership.
Waitlist Enrollment: The afterschool program is currently full. We will contact families on the waitlist as spots open. To be added to the waitlist, please fill out the contact form below.
