AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM


Boys & Girls Clubs of Emerald Valley offers an affordable, high-quality after school program

at Prairie Mountain School.

Registration for the 2025-2026 after school program begins on Thursday, July 31st.


Programming: Your child will enjoy the encouragement and guidance from a consistent Club staff that leads youth in structured opportunities throughout the afternoon in activities including academic enrichment like reading and STEAM activities, plenty of outdoor recreation and physical play, as well as creative opportunities including arts and crafts.

Hours of operation: 

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 2:30 – 6:30 p.m. 

Early Release Wednesday: 1:30 – 6:00 p.m. 


Service dates:  September 2, 2025 - June 11, 2026


Ages Served: Members must be currently attending 1st grade to 12th grade. Youth must have completed kindergarten to begin attending the Club.


Program Fees:


Annual Membership Fee

A one-time registration fee of $40.00 per child is due at the time of enrollment. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The membership is valid from the day of enrollment until August 31, 2026.


Monthly Fee Structure

• $40 per month for one child

• $60 per month for families with multiple children enrolled


A debit or credit card is required to be stored on your account. Monthly fees will be automatically charged on the 1st day of each month from September 2025 through June 2026. No charges will be applied in July or August 2026.


Commitment to Affordability: We work with all families to ensure that no child is turned away due to financial constraints. If you need financial assistance, please email Laurie Rodriguez at lrodriguez@bgcev.org.


Mandatory Parent/Member Orientation: Every youth and parent/guardian must attend a mandatory orientation prior to their child attending the Club.


Meals: Every day your child will receive a hearty snack after school. This institution is an equal opportunity provider.


Transportation To the Club:  New this school year, the Bethel School District will provide bus transportation to our Clubhouse. Bus service is available for youth attending Prairie Mountain, Meadow View, Danebo, Fairfield and Malabon. Shasta Middle School students may walk to the Clubhouse, and a Boys & Girls Club van will continue to provide pick-up from Cascade Middle School. Space is limited.


Transportation Home: All members must be picked up by a parent at the Clubhouse PRIOR to the Club closing at 6:30pm. Failure to pick up your child prior to closing will be grounds for terminating your membership.


Waiting List: In the event of the Club reaching membership capacity, the Club will begin a waiting list for membership. The waiting list is a first come first serve sequence. In the event you are the top of the waiting list, and a spot becomes available, you will be notified of the availability.


Outstanding balances: All account balances must be paid in full prior to registering for the 2025-2026 school year.
